What Type of Yarn is Required?
For this hat all you need is some Craft Smart yarn in curry orange and brown. Can’t get any cheaper than that!
Its a worsted weight acrylic yarn. I purchased mine at Michaels.
It’s the perfect pumpkin color.
What stitches does the pattern use?
This pattern uses single crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet for the main stitches. And it works up fast! Another thing I adore about these bonnets.
So if you’re just coming across this pattern now, it’s not too late to whip one up for this fall.
I am in love with these bonnets! They are so darling on a toddler or small child. Yes, you need it and I give you permission to get it right now.
