Frog Game – Party Blower Craft
My kids and I have so much fun looking at videos on Pinterest, and one night we came across a game that involved wearing frog masks with tongues that shot out. Have you seen it?
They thought it looked like a lot of fun and wanted to try it, but I really didn’t want to buy it haha!
Well we had a birthday coming up here and the birthday girl wanted an animal theme. So I thought a lookalike of this game would be pretty easy to whip up, and it was!

All you need is some thick green card paper, glue, party blowers, scissors, the free printable template for the mask and game pieces, 16-17″ elastic (optional), and googly eyes (optional). You could just draw on the eyes if you don’t want googly eyes but they are a lot of fun.
Materials:
- Green Craft Paper
- Standard White Paper
- Scissors
- Glue Gun and Glue
- Googly Eyes
- Elastic
- Printer
- Party Blowers

How to make your frogs:
Step 1: Gather your materials. Cut a piece of your thicker card craft paper to the same size as a standard printer paper.
Step 2: Print out the template onto the card paper. Cut along all the dotted lines, and the circle in the center where the blower will go.
Step 3: Warm up your glue gun.
Step 4: Fold it down the center vertically. So the fold will be between the eyes.
Step 5: Fold the solid lines in. Crisscross the two ends and glue. If using the elastic you can also glue the elastic in at the same time if desired. Or you can just glue it on after.
Step 6: Glue on the googly eyes.
Step 7: Cut off most of the party blower, leaving approximately 1.25″ left.
Step 8: Insert the party blower into the mask and glue into place.
Step 9: Make the targets. We cut a sheet of craft paper in half, then cut 6 strips out of each half. Then you just fold an inch or so of the end over to make them stand up.
Step 10: Cut out and glue of the flies. Write numbers on the back of each target. I did 5’s, 10’s 20’s and 30’s.
How to play!
Each child will need a mask and a bowl to put the flies they knock down in.
Set up all the fly targets. The children have to knock down the flies with their frog tongue and put them into their bowl.
Once all the flies are down, count up the points to see who won!
