I love this soft cotton. And it comes in a generous array of bright and light colors. It’s not too thin or thick. It’s a perfect choice for little toys like this.
The Stitches
This pattern uses a single crochet throughout the whole pattern. If you’re a beginner, but getting comfortable with crocheting in the round and making increases and decreases, this could be a fun pattern for you.
The Pattern
This is a written pattern that uses US terminology.
You create the top and bottom pieces for the bunny, bird and egg, and sew them together.
You are provided with some information and photos about boning, what it is, it’s uses and how it should be used with these toys.
There are also some photos and instruction for making the faces, and feet.

Time Commitment
I was surprised with how quickly these little guys work up. I’d estimate this project for the average crochet enthusiast would take around 6 hours or less. If my friend Tara were to make them, I’m sure it would be less, she’s a speed demon!
